    Be careful on weekends especially Sunday's during soccer season as both the restaurant and bar gets filled with local Portuguese people who live in the area. Their BBQ chicken is by far the best BBQ chicken you'll have. It's not the typical chicken and rather a smaller chicken where the meat just falls off the bone. It's full of flavor and no dry white meat. Their Sangria (especially by Rafael or Pedro) is top notch and some of the best in the area.

    The husband and I were in Newark with a friend for the day and decided to stop by and introduce our friend to the Portuguese cuisine, we all had the bitoque and boy was it a great choice. This place is a gem, now to obvious but had a great time, service was amazing, food was beyond.

    Drove for almost 2 hours, Waited over 1 hour for food, while people came in after us and got their food before ours. Waiters do not check up and see how we are doing/if the food tastes well/if we need more drinks. Waiting staff should have this down as basic knowledge. NOT WORTH THE TIME AND MONEY.
